Farewell

This has been our home for the last 2.5 years. But it has much more history than that. It started 11 years ago when 3 single guys thought they were never going to afford rent every month. They worked hard, and managed to upgrade from a workout bench to a couch. From there they also upgraded from canned soup and Kraft Dinner to actually having something animal to cook on the BBQ. They managed to find girlfriends and those girlfriends turned into wifes.
And those wifes turned into mothers, and those 3 young men turned into fathers.
and it all started on K*******s St.

our home is set for demolition on Oct 15. Our landlord who has been so good to us over the years is going to rebuild and move in. It makes so much sense for her to be here.
We are going to miss you, #1515

Enjoying the outdoors.

Last week was awsome weather out, just the way I like it. Not too hot and sunny. We spent most days outdoors and heres some pictures.
Daniella, our neighbour gave us some plums off her tree. With out paying attention, Calliope managed to wolf down 3. I wont say anything else.
He's definately a big boy. Looking back at Calliope it took her 5 months to get to the weight he is at 2 months. I'm definately getting a work out.
Momma and Boy, just hangin out. Calliope met up with her friends Zaeyah and Zachery last week. She managed to find the strangest ride I've ever seen at the park. Believe it or not, it beats out the swing for popularity. Kids seemed to line up for this 'thing' just for few minutes of getting dizzy. "getting busy" as Calliope would say.

Oh, and do you remember this slide from when you were a kid? I haven't seen one probably since I WAS Calliope's age!
Walking home from the park. Sometimes I forget to take a look around. I didnt' realize how green the forest was until I actually looked at this picture. Man, do we live in a great place or what, look at that colour!

I really had no idea that a child could love chalk so much. It really is one of her favorite things to do at the moment. Chalk and blowing bubbles, we could do it all day!
