CAN YOU BELIEVE OCTOBER IS OVER???

ok, so I know it's been a while since i've been on.... but we've been busy. And to tell you the truth I can't believe October is over. Does that mean it's time to start thinking about Christmas? EEEKKK! (another favorite time, but just to early to mention it)
I just love this picture, I had just cut Zachery his new fauxhawk and he was a very good boy! Calliope talked for days and days about Zach and Zaeyahh. Although in her vocabulary, I'm not sure if she is saying Zach or Sock, they sound very similar.
We were off to Victoria for a couple of days, partly for work, partly to get away. It's always so nice there, warmer, and sunnier than Vancouver. A favorite place for Steve and I and I hope Calliope too.

Ok, it's my favorite time of year... The pumkins are carved, the house is decorated, and we are anxiously awaiting our trick or treaters. Calliope is getting right into it, She has a favorite book about halloween and every time she turns a page she sucks in air and makes a scary noise. We say 'pick out a book' she runs, screams, and says Halloween. I am not sure if she'll get it tonight, but we'll see. She wasn't really into the carving of the pumpkin as I thought she'd be. No mess, nothing to clean up (except myself)

Her new gloves... I've never been able to get mitts on her, but now that there is a place for her 'thumb' and her 'finger' to go she just gets a kick out of wearing them. Even if there is no one around, she is waving... HI!

Wadda week :)

Well, I have found a new way to get some "MEEEEE" time. I wake up before everyone else, start the coffee, have a shower and sit on the front step and enjoy my warm drink. I start to see the neighbourhood slowly come alive, the sun rises, people head out to work and critters start their day.

This morning, it was foggy, a bit erie, and almost Halloween like. My favorite time of year!

Calliope and Hunter playing in the park.
I think she looks like Momma here Singing Twinkle twinkle... again :)
On the way down to visit Dad at work, we stopped under the Granville Street Bridge for a spontaneous photo shoot. The colours were wonderful. We had just a really good, unplanned day.

Thanks Ang

She just diggs this walking thing!

WALKING, SINGING, AND PARTIES!

Alot of developements the past couple of weeks...
Calliope is officially a TODDLER! yes, she is walking! And where is she walking to, you ask? well, to the nearest table, chair, couch or bed... anything that she can climb on! Funny enough, I have no pictures, only video, and much too long for me to put on my blog, but you get the idea. Just so excited about the swings!

Natasha's first birthday party! (she's on the right)
Nick turns 30!
A star fruitand what do you sing when you have a starfruit?
Twinkle, Twinkle,
She now has a new thing, when ever she sees a star, she sings 'up above' or 'how I' as in the song. It's so cute, and she just cracks us up everytime. I'll catch her singing, while she is quietly playing by herself, or during the night if she wakes up. She truely amazes us :)
