A couple of Videos

Just a couple of Vids from the last while

SIGNS SIGNS EVERYWHERE SIGNS

So Calliope started gym class just a while back and really loves it. It's the first time that she has seen a room full of kids and just jumps right in. Not that she is actually playing with them, just that she doesn't take the time to observe the situation, she just sees those obstacles and just wants to climb! A visit with our 'old' friend Jackson. wow, it's been a long time and he's grown so much

Ok, so Steve and I are sometimes driving around town... we seem to notice that there are some weird signs on business windows and doors. I think we should start a book. This one was so funny, I drove around the block again and we had to take a picture. Good thing we had a camera, otherwise I would have gone home and got it. Can you see it???

A beautiful day at the Beach with Buster.
What a great city we live in.
And meet our new person on board! We went for an Ultrasound on Friday and everything is measuring right on track! We are waiting to the bitter end to find out if it's a boy or girl... and no we didn't sneak a peek. But there they were bouncing around in there and I could barely feel a thing. I can't help to wonder will they be like their older sister. Calliope constantly has her finger in her belly button and we looked back at her ultrasound and there it is, her fingers right at her belly button! well, the technician said this one was playing with their belly button too. Ok, fess up, who in the family does this... I wanna know where they get this from! hahaha

AND 2008 BEGINS.....

So I know 2008 is here, but I'm still rounding out pictures of 2007. So here they are.
Calliope thinks it soooo, cooool to keep her hands in her pockets when she has them. Where did it go? I don't know????.... in your mouth possibly, young lady?

Getting lost in the sea of gifts and paper.
Boxing day Sunset on Burnaby Mountain..... and yes, we did have a white ChristmasOur Friend Lee and his girlfriend gave Steve a great suprise. They were visiting the blustery north from the Cayman Islands. We took them up to Seymour Mountain and wow, was it snowing, a great day had by all.

GETTING READY FOR XMAS

Well, it's been a while since i've been on here.... So, HI!!! We've managed to fit alot in the last few weeks, and all seems to be getting ready for Christmas. We started off 2 weekends ago with a trip to the Santa Claus Parade, it was nice, a little cold but a beautiful sunny day. The next day was a trip up to Seymour Mountain... what a beautiful view.

Stanley park, after dark Hard to tell here, but this is my big war wound from Capoeira. I would say my first injury... to tell you the truth I thought I had broken it, but after a day or so, I could walk again. So of course I went to class again the next day and hurt another toe! So, lets just say I am going to take it easy over the next few weeks, and let my poor purple foot heal.
OUR FIRST SNOW FALL!

as fast as it came... it went :( We took advantage of playing with snow flakes, throughing snow balls at Buster and a few snaps of the Camera. It was beautiful, and deep, and later that evening, we had MAJOR rain, the Pinapple express made it's way from Hawaii all the way to Vancouver. +11 degrees on the first day of Dec!
Our first Snow man! So, We tried to take some photos for this years Christmas cards.. but as you can tell, it didn't go over that well with the 'subject' so a few photos and it was over :(
Ok, so there were a couple of good shots
And last but not least our photo with Santa. She knows who he is, but really doesn't know what he does. (we'll let her figure out that on her own) We stood in line, she said 'Santa' and we talked about his glasses, that looked like Nana's. His boots that looked like Uncle D's. His red outfit like her dress, and that we were going to take a picture. She was happy, we put her on his lap and all she could say was 'Down, Down Mommy' hahaha. So although she was pumped, she wasn't as excited as we were! hahahaha
What a difference from last year!
